Kampala’s social calendar entered a new era of elegance on Sunday, 17th May 2026, as the first edition of Le Brunch de Paris transformed the iconic Sheraton Kampala Hotel into a vibrant celebration of French-inspired luxury and Kampala’s unmistakable social energy.

The premium lifestyle experience, organised by Alliance Française Kampala in partnership with Talent Africa Group, TotalEnergies, SafeBoda, and Calvet, delivered an immersive blend of fine dining, flowing champagne, curated wines, signature cocktails, and elevated networking in a setting designed for sophistication and style.

From 11AM, guests arrived dressed in refined elegance, stepping into an atmosphere that felt like a seamless fusion of Parisian brunch culture and Kampala’s modern lifestyle scene. What began as a sunlit daytime gathering gradually evolved into an all-day social experience, with conversations, laughter, and music carrying the celebration well into the evening.

The debut edition attracted a distinguished mix of diplomats, business leaders, creatives, influencers, and high-profile social figures, all converging in one space that felt both exclusive and effortlessly warm. The ambiance remained electric yet refined throughout, as guests mingled, networked, and indulged in a carefully curated cultural experience.

Hosting duties were handled with grace and charisma by media personality Tracy Ikopit, whose presence added polish to the flow of the day. The musical journey was elevated by DJ Andy Skillz, who delivered a smooth yet energetic soundtrack that matched the evolving mood of the event, while The Lyshan Band brought a soulful live performance that added depth, emotion, and texture to the luxurious setting.

Among the notable attendees were Navio, H.E. Etsegenet Yimenu, H.E. Doreen Amule, H.E. Mirjam Blaak, business magnate Sudhir Ruparelia, media personality Flavia Tumusiime, celebrity couple Brian Mulondo and Manuela Mulondo, lifestyle figure Malaika Tenshi Nnyanzi, and artist GNL Zamba, among others who graced the occasion.

By the time the final notes faded and guests slowly departed, one message lingered in the air: Kampala had just witnessed more than a brunch. It had experienced a redefinition of weekend luxury.
