ENTEBBE — President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Maama Janet Museveni on received international evangelist Bishop Dr. LaDonna C. Osborn at State House Entebbe.
Dr. Osborn is in Uganda ahead of the consecration of Pastor Patience Rwabwogo as a Bishop.
During the meeting, Dr. Osborn recalled her first visit to Uganda in 1985, when she travelled with her late mother, the renowned evangelist Dr. Daisy Osborn. She said her mother ministered to many Ugandans during a difficult period in the country’s history.
Maama Janet also reflected on the Osborn family’s longstanding relationship with the Museveni family. She recalled how Dr. Osborn’s mother prayed with their family and gave their children their first Bibles.
The leaders discussed Uganda’s transformation over the years and the enduring friendship between the Osborn family and Uganda.
President Museveni welcomed Dr. Osborn back to Uganda and wished Pastor Patience Rwabwogo a blessed and successful consecration ceremony.
Dr. LaDonna Osborn is a global evangelist and leader of Osborn Ministries International, continuing the evangelistic legacy of her parents, Drs. T.L. and Daisy Osborn, who conducted major crusades in Africa.
