MultiChoice has yet again announced its annual DStv price adjustments that will kick in on 1 April 2023.
Prices will increase by an average of 4.3% across DStv’s satellite pay-TV portfolio.
“Dear customers, please note that MultiChoice Uganda will implement a price adjustment to the DStv packages effective 1st April,” a message to subscribers read yesterday.
Premium subscribers will pay Shs275,000 from Shs255,000, an increase of 4.8%.
Compact Plus subscribers will shoot to Shs160,000 from Shs150,000 while Compact increases to Shs104,000 from Shs95,000.

Family bouquet has increased to Shs64,000 from shs59,000 while Access will go for Shs43,000 from Shs39,000.
These price changes come just a few months after Multichoice hiked there fares.
In August 2022, Subscribers to DStv Access, were increased from Shs37000 Shs39,000.
The DStv family bouquet was previously priced at Shs 55,000 was increased to Shs59,000. DStv premium, which was previously priced at Shs 239,000, was then priced at Shs255,000.
“The pressure that consumers are facing due to remnants of the pandemic, as well as the continued rolling blackouts nationwide, has not been lost on us,” MultiChoice said.
Mutlichoice further described the price adjustments as normal.
“These nominal adjustments help DStv to ensure that Ugandans continue to enjoy the best value and unrivalled access to entertainment, anywhere, anytime, and at the most affordable price.” Hmmmm.
Gotv subscription has also been increased.
