The Uganda Premier League (UPL) will be decided on the final day tomorrow Saturday.
And as the title race heats up with only the last round of games to decide the winner, the trophy was today paraded at the three clubs to inspire players.

The trophy left the UPL offices and was taken to FUFA House in Mengo. FUFA has the mandate to handover the trophy to the league winners.

After, the trophy was taken by Kibo Media team, led by CEO Bobkins Kibirige, to the homes of the three clubs in the race for the trophy. First stop was St. Mary’s Stadium Kitend, the home of Vipers FC, before it was taken to SC Villa’s Wankulukuku stadium and finally to KCCA’s Philip Omondi stadium in Lugogo.

Players who were at their stadiums for their last training sessions were excited to catch a glimpse of the much sought after trophy.
Tomorrow, Kibo Media will again be at hand to transport the trophy by a drone to the eventual winners, with Sc Villa favorite.

Charles Bbaale scored a crucial goal for SC Villa to beat Blacks Power FC 1-0 on Tuesday, May 23 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League game at the Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
With this victory, SC Villa grabbed a two-point advantage over Vipers SC and KCCA FC in the three-horse race for the league title, whose winner will now be decided on the final day of season. The last round of games will be played on tomorrow, May 27.
Villa now leads the 15-team table with 52 points compared to second placed Vipers and third-placed KCCA, who are tied on 50 points apiece but separated by goal difference.
This is after Vipers drew 1-1 with BUL FC and KCCA were held to a goal-less draw by Busoga United on Tuesday.
The prevailing scenario sets the tone for the final round of games in which SC Villa, seeking to end a 19-year title spell, must win their game against URA FC to achieve the feat.

Striker Charles Bbaale scored SC Villa’s sole winner against Blacks Power on May 23 and picked up the Man-of-the Match award
For Vipers, the chances of retaining the league title are not entirely in their hands. But the Venoms must beat Busoga United at Kitende in the last game of the season and pray that Villa and KCCA lose their matches on the same day.
On the other hand, KCCA will be out to defeat Bright Stars at Lugogo and pray that both Villa and Vipers lose their games.
