Battle lines have been drawn! The stage is set!
Tonight is ACTION.
A few hours from now, two of Uganda’s outstanding female musicians- Sheebah Karungi and Cinderella Sanyu- will take to stage in a by far the most hyped musical battle in Uganda.
Venue is Kololo Independence Grounds.
We have had previous battles between the biggest artists ever, but this first female battle tastes different.
The hype is on point. All is set.
The Shs170 million stage, done by Kadanke is the biggest in Uganda’s history.

Cindy did her final rehearsals on stage late last night (Thursday). Sheebah had done hers on Wednesday night.
Both are ready.
The show expected to kick off from 8 pm to midnight.
With the gates opening in the afternoon, revelers shall have to wait till 8 p.m. when the stage performances are scheduled to begin. The artists will then perform till midnight with short breaks in between four sets.
Each artist is expected to perform for 20 minutes during each set and take a few minutes break in which they are expected to change costumes and allow fans to take a breather.
The first performer to be decided by a coin toss.
The performers are to be represented by their managers or handlers in the coin toss. Barriers on the stage have been installed to separate both artists. Fans will also be separated by barriers.
According to popular journalist Isaac Katende a.k.a Kasuku who is to be the main emcee at the battle, there will be judges to award points to the respective artists based on a number of factors.
Both artists have been warned against hurling insults at each other during the battle. He claims that it will result in a points deduction.
Later in the show as it nears conclusion it will be a gloves off affair where each artistes performs one song and the other does the same after. During this session, both performers will remain onstage.
For all this, each artists has been paid Shs75 million by the show main organizer Victoria University that belongs to mogul Sudhir Ruparelia.
According to insiders, over Shs500 million has been invested in the battle.
