The bishop of the diocese of Kigezi, Rt rev Gaddie Akanjuna has called upon Boys across the diocese of kigezi to stay in school for mindful generation.Bishop Akanjuna made these remarks yesterday during the dedication service for S4 and S6 students of Nyamweru secondary school held at the school premises in Nyamweru Sub county of Rubanda district.
Bishop Akanjuna reminded boys that by nature men are often considered the heads of their families however being the head of a family without the ability to provide for can be quite challenging.He encouraged young boys to persist in their studies, emphasizing that their bright future lies in their hands. He encouraged boys to prioritize their education. He warned boys that they will be overwhelmed by marrying educated women and end up in a miserable future of begging from their wives therefore urging them to stay in school.
Preaching in the same service, Rev. Mwesigwa Oscar, the diocesan education coordinator, in his sermon drawn from Psalm 16:7 he reminded learners that God is a source of promises and faithfulness. He advises students to commit themselves to God for their success, as God is the source of knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

Rev. Mwesigwa reminded learners that success in education and life comes from their efforts and also education is not a magical solution hence requires hard work and dedication. He advised them to use their time in doing the right things at the right time.
Meanwhile the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi presided over the dedication service of Hornby High Junior and Hornby High School Primary in the northern division of Kabale Municipality where he encouraged learners to set their targets and prioritize their academic achievements. He urged learners to strive for excellence in their studies as education plays a crucial role in shaping the future of young individuals. He also asked them to stay focused and determined in their pursuit of better grades for a brighter future.
