RivExcel, a global leader in business solutions, has entered into a transformative strategic partnership with American Hospital Dubai, marking a significant commitment to improving healthcare accessibility in Sub-Saharan Africa.
In an official announcement, American Hospital Dubai revealed plans to open three medical tourism representative offices in Uganda in 2024, as part of a broader expansion initiative spanning 30 offices across key African and Eastern European locations. This move aligns with the UAE’s goal to establish itself as a global medical tourism hub.
The historic partnership was formalized through a signing ceremony on January 31, 2024, in Dubai, attended by prominent figures, including Mr Buti Al Mulla, Chairman of the Boards of Directors of Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group, Sherif Beshara, Group CEO of Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group and American Hospital Dubai, Dr Marwan AlMulla, CEO of Health Regulation Sector at Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Tonye Princewill, Executive Chairman of RivExcel, and Tayyibat Mohammed, Nigerian Consul General in Dubai, marking a milestone in healthcare diplomacy.

RivExcel, leveraging its extensive network across Africa, will establish and manage Representative Offices, beginning with the inaugural office in Lagos, Uganda. This strategic move aims to bring world-class healthcare services closer to the African population.
With over 30 offices planned in major African countries, including Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa, these offices will serve as hubs for disseminating American Hospital Dubai’s renowned healthcare services, creating a stronger connection between the hospital and diverse communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. The collaboration is set to revolutionize healthcare by providing cutting-edge medical solutions and expertise to a broader audience.
In the upcoming months, RivExcel plans to replicate this success with the establishment of another Representative Office in Abuja, reinforcing the commitment to reaching various regions within Africa. This expansion aims to facilitate greater access to premium healthcare services, reflecting the dedication of both organizations to enhancing global health outcomes.
